Even in this ever changing world some things refuse to bend. Meet Gunnery Sergeant Quint North. A creature of habit and discipline, the current PC world and patriots are the enemy of progress mentality makes no sense at all to him.
The propensity of athletes taking a knee and disrespecting not only this great country but also those who gave their lives protecting it makes even less. But what can one man do to fight the intentional decay of the greatest country the world has ever known? Speak out. Live a patriotic example.

I actually couldn’t wait for the DVD so we rented online. As a Veteran, and Native American I am very proud to fly the American Flag. But not necessarily for our Nation which is not perfect, but for the Constitution it represents which is the most (yet not) perfect Constitution ever. The biggest fault with our Constitution is that We the People have forgotten that We are the True Sovereignty that allows our government to govern. Of the consent of the people, not an authoritarian government it has become. We the People have the inherent Rights granted by our God and loaned to the Government.
Today I could easily right more grievances against Government usurpation of power than what is listed in the Declaration of Independence.
If our Nation fails, it is the failure of the People to stand up for the Flag, the Constitution and the Inherent Rights it guarantees to All American
Citizens regardless of ethnicity or other classifications. We are all of One Race Created by our Creator, but not all are Blessed With American Citizenship. And not everyone should be, nor does many here ever want to be.

I ordered To Die For and was not disappointed! The topic our country is currently facing is so controversial but this story says it ALL. My grandfather, father and son were all in the Army. While none of them were killed in action, my son died in a motorcycle accident a month before his first deployment. The scene of Quint's first salute to the flag brought me to tears. I have the flag that draped my son's casket and when I look at the flag now, what I am reminded of is that a flag is NOT just a piece of material flying on a pole, or even used to drape the casket of a fallen service member. It stands for everything this country was built upon. My respect for the flag was instilled at a young age in my own elementary school and I too learned the pledge of allegiance in the kindergarten. I HATED US history in high school (only because I couldn't retain enough to pass most of the tests) but never did I ever look at the flag as something I should desecrate or kneel for. As the saying goes "Take a knee for God, STAND for the flag." The various scenes and dialogs through out the movie made me laugh, become angry at the ignorance of entitled people and cry for the enormous patriotism Quint had for his flag and the lengths he went to, to keep his right to fly it proudly WHENEVER he chose. This movie was put together so well for our current times. We are slowly losing grasp of our rights that we have always had and the rights that were EARNED through blood and sacrifice. I don't know where we will end up in the years to come but rest assured I am sharing this DVD with my family who will always remove their hats and place it over their hearts respectfully whenever our National Anthem is played. God bless America and God bless you for addressing what so many others feel they aren't allowed to have an opinion on! And VOTE for the person to turn this country around.

I bought this autographed "To Die For" dvd for my husband (Me too, lol!), and we loved it! We soooo loved the comedy scenes. But, my personal favorite scene was when John was talking about having to stand up for what's right no matter the consequences. (Jesus stood up for what was right also, knowing what was to happen. It inspired courage in Christians to stand up for themselves.) SPOILER ALERT! The only negative...I would've liked it to have an ending showing our side winning. We need hope. Also, for those BLEEPS that killed Glory (I cried) and committed other dastardly deeds... it would have been great to have at least seen that they received repercussions for their actions, (something also not happening in real life, it's enabling them). Overall though, amazing movie! God bless you all for making it, we hope to see many more. ✝️

Love the movie and glad someone has the guts to acknowledge and make public the state of the world today. People don’t seem to realize we are slowly loosing our freedom and constitutional rights. I was given a permit to put in a 60 ft flagpole when no flag size limits were in effect in Orange County NC until I put a Confederate flag on it and someone complained so the County commissioners passed an ordinance after the fact to limit the flag size in the county to a 4 ft x 6 ft for the largest flag of any kind tgat can be flown in the county. So this also applies to the flag of the US of A so it is happening. Thanks for standing up for freedom!

The theme and story line of the movie "To Die For" is excellent and spot on for the country today. What was a little less than great was the constant switching of shots to individual characters up close in their face when they talk due to being done with a lot of green screen time. I totally understand why you chose to use this method, but it took away from the enjoyment of the movie for me personally. I've always been a fan of John Schneider movies from years back as I own many in my collection of dvd's I enjoy regularly, but this one, short of a great story line, was a bit difficult to watch due to the way it was shot.
